A MESSAGE FROM THE FESTIVAL'S FOUNDERS

On February 25, 2011, we decided to create the Global Nonviolent Film Festival, motivated by the prevalence of extreme and often gratuitous violence in many films. Our goal was to demonstrate that great and outstanding films could be made without gratuitous violence. Action followed our decision; in 2012, the first edition of the Global Nonviolent Film Festival took place, and subsequent editions have continued every year.
We are thrilled to present the 14th annual edition of the Global Nonviolent Film Festival, exclusively broadcast on this channel. This year, we’re excited to offer the festival for FREE, with no registration or sign-in required—just click and watch!
The festival features 41 films from 29 countries, all competing for awards presented by our esteemed jury. Join us daily until October 6 for our Daily Video Presentations, and immerse yourself in this unique cinematic experience until October 12.
